Hi girls! Welcome to the Information Literacy Web site. In this class you will learn to:
- document sources of information using in-text citation and MLA bibliography format
- learn to use NoodleBib, and online citation program
- understand the layout of, and be able to access, all the resources of the physical library
- navigate the virtual library using the library web page and the online catalog
- search a variety of subscription databases to access information.
- create an effective search statement for online searches
- evaluate web sites and differentiate among search engines(and learn how to make the best use of Google)
- understand the rules of copyright as it applies to all media
