Editing Your Maps

Course Descriptions Area (Pink)

When you load the Course descriptions area of one of your courses, there are 5 areas under the "Data Entry" tab where you can enter your data.  There is one such page for each of your courses.  Teachers should try to enter information in each of the following fields:  Content, Materials, Goals.
Methods/Requirements, and Assessment/Evaluation.

In addition, there is a Full Print Layout tab for printing this information.  This page will print in Grayscale.

Maps Area (Blue)

When you load the Curriculum Maps for one of your courses, the main page that you see first contains 5 tabs.  Here is some information on what you should do when you see your map.

Course Info/Map tab

1)  You should check and verify that the displayed information is correct.  Report any inaccuracies to the Help Desk.

2)  Enter data into the Content, Skills, and Assessment fields as appropriate.  See the guidelines for tips on what to enter.

Resources tab

Enter materials into the field provided.  This area is optional, but may provide helpful information to users who search the database for specific items.

Teacher's Notes tab

Enter notes for yourself that may assist you in planning your course or just anything in general.

Full Print Layout tab

This is a grayscale view of your Map for printing purposes.

Help tab

A reproduction of the Guidelines for writing yor curriculum maps.
