Helpful Hints about writing your Progress Reports/Comments
Below is a list of tips and tricks found useful when entering grades and comments.
1) Write your comments for each student using a word processor such as Microsoft Word or AppleWorks.
2) Spell check your comments using your word processor's spell checking feature.
3) Have this document open when ready to enter comments into FAWeb.
4) Access the area for entering comments into FAWeb.
5) Change the sizes and positions of the two windows (word processor & FAWEB-Comments) so that you can see both of them on the screen at the same time. It helps if you minimize other windows not related to this process.
6) Copy and Paste the comment for one student from your word processing document to the area for the Comment in FAWeb.
NOTE: To use the copy and paste functions on either a Windows or Apple computer, you must
use the keystroke commands.

7) Switch to the next student using the arrow buttons in the Comment popup window.
8) Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you have finished an entire class. Click OK, then click SAVE.
9) Go to the next class and then repeat steps 6 and 7 as necessary.
