STEP 4:  SUBMITTING GRADES AND COMMENTS

When you have entered all of your grades and comments and you are ready to turn them in, you need to "verify" and "submit" them electronically.

NOTE:  If you need to change a grade after it has been posted, you must contact the appropriate Academic Office.




1)  Login to FAWeb (see GC1: LOGGING IN TO FAWEB instructions for help)

2)  Open the gradebook that you want to submit by clicking on the Gradebook Icon next to the appropriate class.

3)  Select "Multiple" from the marking column pull-down menu.

You will now see a window similar to the one below.

4)  In this window, you can review your entries for the students in that class.  Especially important is the Final Grade.  

Note:  The Final Grade is automatically calculated according to the school formula.  The Final Exam is worth 20% of the Final Grade and the average of the three trimesters is worth 80%.

It is also important to note that FAWeb rounds off for display purposes only.  In the example below, Sarah will receive a final grade of A-.  If you wish to "override" the final calculation in order to round up properly, you must click into the Final grade column and enter an A.

5)  You must change the posting status to "Ready" when you have finished verifying your final entries for the Grades and Comments process.  Click on the blue words Post Grades (from the window above) to view the Posting Status for all of your entries.  Change the status from "Not Ready" to ready for each of the following columns:  TRI III, FIN EXAM, and FIN GRADE.  Click OK when finished.

6) Repeat this process for each of your gradebooks.

7)  Before going to the next class or exiting the program, BE SURE to press the Save Button.21505_110238_3.png
